The Center for Native American Health (CNAH) promotes cultural well-being by providing American Indian UNM Health Sciences students with two student centers for studying, socializing, meetings, and interactions between students, staff, and faculty.
Dr. Ervin Lewis Student Center
The Dr. Ervin Lewis Student Center is on UNM North Campus in the Health Sciences and Services Building (HSSB) on the first floor, Rm. 104. Features include:
- 3 desktop computers (1 Mac, 2 Windows) with black & white printing/copying
- Lockers for day use
- Books and study materials for checkout
- Whiteboard
- Kitchenette amenities
- Sofa
This center is secured with badge-access entry. To gain access, students must have a valid UNM Health Sciences Center ID.
CNAH Student Center
The CNAH Student Center is located at CNAH’s office at 1001 Medical Arts Ave NE. Features include:
- Group study space w/ whiteboard and monitor
- Individual study spaces with internet hookup, office supplies, and storage
- Mac computer lab with printing/copying
- Kitchenette amenities
- Whiteboards
- Resource Library
- Wellness room
- Free parking
This center is accessible for American Indian Health Sciences students at UNM. Students are welcome to stop by during CNAH business hours, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. Check out our virtual tour.
