Training for Shippers and Transporters of Radiopharmaceuticals
NEO developed a general DOT training program as outlined in CFR Title 49. The goal of this program is to provide web-based training in the required DOT training to those working with or around radioactive materials.
The online availability of this program will cover the required material, provide record keeping, and be cost-effective.
We have two courses available to meet the radiopharmaceutical industry needs:
Users will choose from a courier module, a nuclear medicine department module, or a Radiopharmacy module depending upon their job function/setting. Upon completion, a copy of the DOT training certificate will be generated assuming that the user has successfully passed an exam over the material.
These courses address the Department of Transportation training requirements for those preparing radioactive materials used in research, medical diagnosis or treatment for ground and/or air shipment by motor vehicles.
If you have questions about the online course for Nuclear Pharmacist Authorized User, please email UNM's NEO Tech Support at HSC-NEOTechSupport@salud.unm.edu.
