Residency Application and Admission

Do you want the opportunity to be an expert in preventive medicine? This training is unique and provides for enriching opportunities. Apply Now! The Preventive Medicine Residency has a spot available for the 2019 academic year!

Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as they are submitted. Applicants who fail to meet ACGME training and NM medical license requirements will not be considered. All completed applications of qualified candidates will be considered.

The admissions committee will consist of the program director, associate program director, residency faculty and current residents. Applicants will meet with a representative from the MPH program during their interview day to learn more about the program.

Following an interview, the admissions committee will evaluate each applicant according to established criteria. Final selection of residents is made on a rolling basis. Residents starting off-cycle, for example in January, may be accepted at other times when a position becomes available.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should apply online at the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) website. The Electronic Residency Application Service is a service of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
