The Department of Dermatology is committed to improving dermatological patient care, education, and research in New Mexico.
Our Department seeks to promote excellence and quality in dermatologic care by introducing clinicians to recent advances that affect clinical practice; providing updates on scientific advances in cutaneous biology and histopathology; and strengthening our relationship with community providers and providers in other areas of the Health Sciences Center.
We hold Grand Rounds every Friday from 8am-9am. Sessions typically include clinical case presentations or guest speakers and offer CME credit. Grand Rounds is open to all University of New Mexico faculty, residents, and students as well as dermatological practitioners from throughout New Mexico.
