I chose to train at The University of New Mexico because it is a well-rounded program with people who seemed genuinely happy. My favorite part of this program is the amazing attending/resident relationship. There are a lot of interesting trauma cases and unique challenges in Albuquerque. I love to train here because we get to work together as a team and get hands-on experience. The city is also low-cost of living and the weather is nice. My interests and hobbies outside of medicine include LSU football, baking, going to concerts, home design, skiing, and refinishing furniture.
